I have been painting for over 35 years, 25 of them as a professional artist. I paint in oil, acrylic, resin and mix media. In addition to paintings, I also create resin sculptures of various kinds. And when I want to relax, I make my own jewelry.
My work does not have a single theme and it never becomes monotonous to me, but I must admit that portraits of humans and animals are my favorite, especially those faces that make you happy rather than those that show the human struggle.
I also enjoy and appreciate the art of others, especially from up and coming artists. When I look at someone else’s artwork, I can feel all the trials and tribulations that the artists went through to create their work. I guess I am not a very good partner to go to an art gallery as I can spend 30 minutes in front of each painting, imagining every brush stroke on their canvas.
